RF Government Approves Protocol to Protect Caspian

  • The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the Protocol for the Protection of the Caspian Sea against Pollution from Land-Based Sources and Activities in the Framework of the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea signed on December 12, 2012 in Moscow.

    An order to this effect (No2197 of August 15, 2023) was signed by RF Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

    In accordance with the document, the RF Ministry of foreign affairs is to notify the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is the Depositary of the Protocol, of the decision taken.
