Global Ports Adds Equipment to Yainino Off-Dock Terminal

  • Global Ports has put into operation additional container handling equipment at its Yanino Logistics Park off-dock terminal in St. Petersburg vicinity, the group said in a statement.

The 45-ton capacity reach stacker can handle 20’, 40’ and 45’ units. It is the fourth reach stacker of such capacity deployed in Yanino. It will be used to loading, unloading and stacking containers.

The front loader will be used to clean the terminal from snow and waste materials and to handle light (up to 5 tons) cargo.

Yanino Logistics Park located 30 km off the Big Port of St. Petersburg in Vsevolozhsk region of Leningrad Oblast has a container and a railway terminal as well as warehousing and customs control facilities.

The off-dock terminal offers storage and stuffing/stripping services for containers handled via Global Ports’ marine terminals in St. Petersburg, First Container Terminal and Petrolesport.
