Russia’s Rosagroleasing, a state owned company set up to support modernization of the country’s agricultural sector by means of leasing mechanisms is planning to order series of large-tonnage bulkers to carry grain, the RF Government said in its social media account.
According to Pavel Kosov, MD of Rosagroleasing, the company has placed an order for a project to build 40,000 and 60,000 dwt bulkers.
He said the designs are to be ready in six months, and the vessels are to be launched in two or three years.
The demand for such vessels is estimated to make 61 unit.
