Ruscon and Sakhalin Shipping Company (SASCO), both parts of Delo Group, have launched a joint multimodal Moscow – Vladivostok – Korsakov – Magadan service.
Trains depart from Ruscon’s own terminal at the railway station of Kresty station in Moscow for the station of Ugolnaya in Vladivostok every 10 days. The rail transit time is 15 days. From Vladivostok, cargo is shipped on board SASCO vessels to the port of Korsakov on the Sakhalin Island, and then to Magadan.
Customers are offered stuffing services at the terminal in Moscow and delivery of containers for loading and unloading both at the point of dispatch or any other point along the route.
The service is designed to transport a wide range of cargo, including exports to various destinations.
Sergey Beryozkin, Head of Ruscon, said: “Thanks to close cooperation with our colleagues from Sakhalin Shipping Company, we have organized a stable multimodal route to deliver goods to the eastern regions of Russia. At the same time, the service can also be used by producers who send exports to the Asia-Pacific region via Vladivostok.”
