Arctic Tanker for Northern Delivery Programme

  • RP-Shipping, part of RUSPETROL Group, has acquired a seagoing Arctic class tanker to deliver oil products to Russian Arctic regions in the framework of the Northern Delivery Programme.

    Under an agreement with the RF Ministry for the development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the company invested 568 mn rubles ($8.07 mn) into the project.

    According to the RF Ministry, the 20,000 dwt “Kilikia” tanker will start operating in second half of February.
