TransContainer has launched a new regular service for import cargo from Zabaikalsk station on the border between China and Russia to its own terminal at the rail station of Kleshchikha in Novosibirsk.
The service is aimed for consumer goods, as well as engineering and chemical products manufactured in China. TransContainer accumulates and handles containers at its own terminal in Zabaikalsk, and also arranges for railway transportation by block trains to the Kleshchikha station in Novosibirsk.
Within the framework of the service the trains are dispatched from Zabaikalsk on a weekly basis, the transit time is 7 days.
“The launch of the new service between Zabaikalsk and Novosibirsk will allow our customers to make the shipments more regular through the possibility of small consignments dispatch, up to one 20-foot container,” Nikita Pushkarev, Sales and Customer Service Director of TransContainer, said.
