The RF Ministry of Transport, the government of Primorsky Kray and RZD Business Asset have concluded an agreement on cooperation in developing the Container Terminal Grodekovo project under the departmental programme aimed for establishing a transport and logistics centers network in Primorsky Kray in the Russian Far East.
The document was signed by Valentin Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Feeration, Alexey Shilo, Deputy CEO of Russian Railways, Valery Prokopchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Primorsky Kray government, and Vyacheslav Saraev, CEO of RZD Business Asset.
According to RZD Business Asset, under the agreement, the parties will draw up a road map for the project, define the optimal project management scheme and the sources to finance it.
The project is aimed at cutting logistics costs, improving transit time and reliability of delivery and creating favourable investment climate in the region.
