TransContainer, part of Russia’s Delo Group, and CVLOGRUS, formerly the Russian division of CEVA Logistics, have concluded an agreement on cooperation organizing multimodal container shipments from the Asia Pacific region to Russia via Russian Far East ports.
The document was signed by Viktor Markov, CEO of TransContainer, and Cyril Pacary, CEO of CVLOGRUS, during the recent Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok, TransContainer said in a statement.
The parties intend to expand consumer goods transportation for major retail chains as well as local and foreign trademarks from the APR via Russian Far East ports.
According to Markov, the agreement will allow to draw additional freight to the multimodal services operated by TransContainer from the APR countries.
