The RF Government has completing developing the legal framework for launching the Electronic transport documents public system. A decree introducing electronic documents exchange regulations was signed by Premier Mikhail Mishustin on May 21.
The regulations as well as other documents necessary for the Electronic transport documents public system to become operable are coming into force w.e.f. September 1, 2022.
The Electronic transport documents public system is expected to facilitate freight movement and reduce paperwork saving time and cutting expenses for carriers and shippers.
Implementing electronic document exchange is one of the priority tasks set by the Transport Strategy 2030 adopted by the RF Government at the end of 2021.
