The port facilities are to undergo a total refurbishment, and an industrial park is to be developed in Magadan in the Russian Far East.
According to the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the project branded Fish Port of Magadan envisages reconstructing the quayside and modernizing the berths and the infrastructure.
The general planning scheme of Magadan has been amended accordingly, at present, the territorial planning documents and city zoning plans are to be approved in the near future.
