According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January 2022 Russia’s export of vodka made 142 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 2.2-fold year-on-year and down 51.9% month-on-month, physically, and $8.8 mn, up 2.1-fold year-on-year and down 55.6% month-on-month, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in January 2022 grew by 27.7% year-on-year and declined by 34.4% month-on-month to $210.4 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January 2022 was up 33.3% year-on-year and down 36.2% month-on-month to $6 mn.
