Grain Terminal and Gas Processing Plant Projects in Ust-Luga Approved

  • The interdepartmental commission under the government of Leningrad region has approved the location of two new facilities on the territory of the region.

    One of them is a gas processing plant, part of the Gas Chemical Complex under construction by RusKhimAlyans to process 45 bn cubic meters of ethane gas near Ust-Luga. The planned capital expenditures into the project is 1,380 bn rubles ($13.2 bn).

    The other project is Baltic Grain Terminal envisaging building an industrial and logistics complex for handling up to 10 mn tons export and import grain and food products. This project is worth more than 37 bn rubles ($353.5 mn).
