TransContainer has reported increasing throughput via its three major container terminals, Kleschikha in Novosibirsk, Logistika-Terminal in St. Petersburg, and Zabaikalsk on the Russia-China border.
The Kleschikha terminal in Novosibirsk handled 533 thousand TEU in 2021, up 7% year and year, including 243 thousand TEU of rail-bourn containers (up 7%) and 289 thousand of road-transported TEU (+7%). The terminal sent 639 block trains, up 5% year-on-year.
Logistika-Terminal in St. Petersburg handled 468 thousand TEU, up 16% year-on-year, including 178 thousand rail-bourn containers (+9%) and 291 thousand TEU carried by road (+21%), and dispatched more than 1.2 thousand block trains.
The Zabaikalsk terminal handled 198 thousand TEU, up 4% year-on-year, and sent some 1.5 thousand block trains, up 23% year-on-year.
