The RF Main Department State Expertise has repeatedly considered the project documentation and engineering surveys for the reconstruction of the Seroglazka terminal in the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and granted its approval.
The Seroglazka terminal located in the Avachinskaya Bay is part of the sea port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a resident of the Free port of Vladivostok. The reconstruction project is aimed at developing state of the art facility to handle reefer and dry containers.
In the framework of the project, the infrastructure for handling general cargo will be modernized including the zone of Berths 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 out of the eight berths of the terminal.
The project also envisages expanding the storage zone and developing new container yards, installing new electric cable channels and laying hard pavement on the entire territory of the terminal.
According to the SeaNews PORTSTAT online analytic service, Seroglazka Terminal handled 197.7 thousand tons during January-November 2021, up 34.9% year-on-year, most of the cargo being reefer products (namely, fish).
