According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-October 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.86 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 5.6% year-on-year, physically, and $127.7 mn, up 12.2%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-October grew by 22.6% year-on-year to exceed $2.7 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-October surged by 67.4% up to $76 mn.
In October, Russia exported 257.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 9.8% year-on-year and down 4.4% month-on-month, worth $17.5 mn, up 24.1% year-on-year and down 11.2% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in October was up 9.8% year-on-year and up 17.8% month-on-month to $355.8 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in October was up 2.3-fold year-on-year and up 14.3% month-on-month to $5.6 mn.
