Azerbaijan’s ASCO to Enter Baltic and North Sea Markets

  • Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Co (ASCO) intends to start operations in the Baltic and in the North Sea. The company said it has conducted a detailed analysis of these markets and prepares to send several vessels to those regions.

    ASCO currently operates a fleet consisting of 51 commercial vessel including 20 tankers, 13 ferries, 15 universal dry cargo ships, and 2 ro-ro vessels. The company’s specialized fleet includes 20 crane vessels, 25 barges, 26 passenger ships, 2 pipe laying vessels, 6 firefighting units, 7 engineering and geo vessels, 2 diving boats, and 88 service, support and patrol vessels.
