FESCO Adds Container Vessel

  • FESCO has added a container ship to its fleet, the fourth vessel acquired during the last 18 months. The ship named “FESCO Sofia” will be deployed on the FESCO China Express service between China and the Russian Far East. The first voyage is scheduled to start in late October.

    The 222.45 m, 32.24 m beam “FESCO Sofia” has a capacity of 3,091 TEU and can carry up to 500 reefer units. The vessel is equipped with three 45-ton cranes and has a crew of 17.

    “FESCO Sofia” is a sister ship of two other vessels operated by FESCO, “FESCO Dalnegorsk” and “FESCO Diomid”.

    The group intends to add one more vessels to its fleet in the near future.
