According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-July 2021 Russia exported 4.6 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, up 3.4-fold year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged 4.6-fold year-on-year up to $10.3 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export grew by 1.4% year-on-year making 386.9 thousand tons worth $3.2 bn, up 57.5% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-July 2021 decreased by 45.8% year-on-year amounting to 34.8 thousand tons worth $599.6 mn, down 24.6% year-on-year.
In July, unwrought aluminum export made 3 mn tons, up 10.2-fold year-on-year and up 7.8-fold month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged 16.1-fold year-on-year and surged 8.9-fold month-on-month to make $7.4 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was up 19.2% year-on-year and up 28% month-on-month to 69.4 thousand tons worth $636.1 mn, up 95.4% year-on-year and up 27.7% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in July was down 91.9% year-on-year and down 71.7% month-on-month to 1.5 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 88.4% year-on-year and decreased by 70.9% month-on-month to make $26.6 mn.
