Vostochny Port andf RZD Business Asset, a container operating subsidiary of Russian Railways, signed a Memorandum on cooperation in developing international and domestic container transportation via Vostochny Port during the Eastern Economic Forum.
According to Vostochny Port, the parties intend to develop common container services to provide for the demand of the Russian and global shippers using the transit potential of the Russian Federation.
The parties also agreed to work together with shipping companies to develop the new container terminal project of Vostochny Port.
