During the Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Vladivostok on September 1-4, navigation in Vladivostok is to be restricted, the regional emergency department reports.
The area subject to navigation restrictions includes the Amur and Ussuri bays, the Ajax and Paris bays on the Russky Island, and the basin between Cape Novosiltsky and Cape Zhitkov and Novik Bay in the northeast and Cape Doronin and Cape Shigin in the northwest.
The restrictions will apply to all vessel types except for those that are deployed in preparation for and serving the forum and those that serve the local passenger lines.
Also, vessels deployed for medevacuation and other medical purposes are exempt from the restrictions.
