Baltic Stevedore Co, part of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group, handled a record-breaking volume of 124 thousand TEU during January-May of 2021.
In May, BSC handled 75,755 TEU, a historic monthly maximum exceeding the previous monthly record of 26,814 TEU set in April 2019.
During the first quarter of 2021, container traffic via BSC was also record breaking amounting to 70.4 thousand TEU, up 80% year-on-year.
Intermodal container traffic via the terminal in the of the One Belt, One Road framework also set record in May 2021 amounting to 4,090 TEU compared to 796 TEU last May.
