Onega Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Yard has launched the azimuthal ASD 3413 Ice Arc5 tugboat “Pomor” under construction for the Russian governmental port property management agency Rosmorport.
The 34.1 m LOA, 13 m beam, 13 m draft vessel will be deployed mainly in the White and Kara Seas to tow vessels and floating objects and structures both in ice and ice-free conditions.
The tug has a speed of 12 knots, and a bollard pull of 45 tons and will be operated by a crew of at least 8 people.
