Crystal Alliance Launches Container Liner Service from China to Vladivostok

  • Ocean container carrier Crystal Alliance LTD has announced launching a liner container service from Ningbo, China to Vladivostok, Russia.

    As of March 16, the service became regular with a fortnightly frequency.

    The terminal of call in Vladivostok is Pervomaysky Sea Commercial Port.

    According to the shipping line’s representative, the target customers are freight forwarders and container owners.

    In addition to the new liner service from Ningbo to Vladivostok Crystal Alliance operates two tramp services from Taicang (China) and Busan (Republic of Korea) to Vladivostok.

    The carrier is planning to launch a regular liner container service from Taicang and Busan in April-May 2021.

    According to Crystal Alliance, the main competitive advantages of the new liner service are as follows:

    • Flexibility in operational procedures and communication with customers
    • Direct service
    • Short transit time
    • Low tariffs
    • Focused on freight forwarders (vs. global carriers who are more and more oriented on serving direct cargo owners)
