Экспорт черных металлов, 10 месяцев 2020: выросли отгрузки металлопроката

Ferrous Metals Export in January-October 2020

  • According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, during January-October 2020 Russia exported 32.9 mn tons of ferrous metals, down 3.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, ferrous metals export declined by 16.2% down to $13 bn.

    Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export was down 8.9% year-on-year to some 11 mn tons. In terms of value, it decreased by 21.1% down to $4 bn.

    Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in January-October 2020 increased by 10.5% year-on-year up to 6.4 mn tons worth $3 bn, down 6.8%.

    Cast iron export during the 10 months 2020 declined by 13% year-on-year down to 3.2 mn tons worth over $987.8 mn, down 21.9%.

    Ferroalloys export in January-October 2020 decreased by 10.4% year-on-year down to 614.7 thousand tons worth $738.1 mn (-29.8%).

    According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in October 2020 ferrous metals export was down 3.1% year-on-year and down 6.2% month-on-month to 3.1 mn tons. In terms of value, it declined by 2.9% year-on-year and by 2.9% month-on-month to make $1.3 bn.

    Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export in October 2020 was down 20.5% year-on-year and down 3.9% month-on-month making 875.9 thousand tons. In terms of value, it decreased by 18.1% year-on-year and grew by 0.3% month-on-month to $344.6 mn.

    Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in October 2020 was up 14.3% year-on-year and down 14.7% month-on-month making 639 thousand tons worth $325.3 mn (up 12.8% year-on-year and down 6.7% month-on-month).

    Cast iron export in October 2020 made 273 thousand tons, up 10.9% year-on-year and down 42.9% month-on-month. In terms of value, it amounted to $88.7 mn, up 8.6% year-on-year and down 38.7% month-on-month.

    Ferroalloy export in October 2020 was down 2.5% year-on-year and up 1.1% month-on-month to 63.3 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 17.4% year-on-year and increased by 15.3% month-on-month to make $76.1 mn.
