CJ ICM Logistics has transported 339 Hyundai buses from Turkey to Turkmenistan. The cargo was delivered to Turkey from South Korea by sea. In the port of Izmir, specialists of the CJ ICM Logistics branch office in Turkey had organized transshipment of the buses from the ocean vessels onto river-sea type vessels for further transportation.
During August-October, 7 river-sea ships were deployed to carry the buses along the Volga-Don Canal to the final port of destination in Turkmenbashi.
The transportation project was carried out as a part of public procurement procedure organized by the government of Turkmenistan earlier this year.
