FESCO has acquired 100 new 40’ high-capacity reefer containers for its subsidiary, rail reefer specialist Dalreftrans.
The first units are to delivered in late November. With the new containers, Dalreftrans will be operating the largest reefer fleet in Russia exceeding 1,900 units.
The new containers are equipped with state of the art Carrier PrimeLINE refrigerating technology with a last generation controller Carrier Micro-Link 5 allowing of round-the-clock monitoring and maintaining the pre-set temperature inside the unit.
The containers also have a GPS/GSM module providing for tracking and tracing and reporting on the temperature of the cargo in real time mode.
FESCO intends to use the new reefers on both its domestic and cross-border services, including transit routes.
