TransContainer Launches Block Train from St. Petersburg to Perm

  • TransContainer has launched a new block train from St. Petersburg to Perm in the Urals. The first train left Logistika Terminal owned and operated by TransContainer on July 30.

    The service is planned as regular with two or three trains monthly. The company also offers a service in the opposite direction, from Perm to St. Petersburg.

    According to the regional office of TransContainer, the train to Perm was the 230th public service train that departed from Logistika Terminal since the year start. The overall number of container trains that left the terminal in 2020 exceeds 450.

    The terminal handled more than 83,000 TEU in H1 2020, up 14% year-on-year.
