According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-April 2020 amounted to 280.1 mn tons (+4%). The top five terminals handled 87.3 mn tons or 31.2% of this volume.
CPC-R in Novorossiysk remains the leader in terms of cargo throughput. Its cargo traffic increased by 9.6% up to 22.3 mn tons.
Primorsk Commercial Port handled 21.9 mn tons, up 15.3% year-on-year.
Cargo traffic via Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port amounted to 21.7 mn tons, down 14.7% year-on-year.
Cargo throughput via Transneft Kozmino Port in Vostochny increased by 8.1% up to 11.3 mn tons.
Neva Pipeline Company in Ust-Luga handled 10.2 mn tons. Its cargo traffic was down 3.8% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5. Bunker-Port in Sovetskaya Gavan saw its cargo traffic surge 13.3-fold, SGT Kavkaz was up 7.2-fold, Arctic Consulting Service in Arkhangelsk was up 6.8-fold.
The largest decrease in cargo traffic was in Dalzavod-Terminal (Vladivostok) (-94.3%), Za Rodiny Fishing Cooperative (Kaliningrad) (-91.3%) and Linter (Kavkaz) (-84.7%).
