According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total container throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-November 2019 amounted to 4.9 mn TEU. Five terminals handled 2.6 mn TEU or 52.6% of this volume.
Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg remains the leader in terms of container throughput. Its container traffic increased by 4.9% up to 697.6 thousand TEU
First Container Terminal saw its container traffic grow by 7.3% up to 600.7 thousand TEU.
Container traffic via Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP) amounted to 565.3 thousand TEU, up 13.4% year-on-year.
Container throughput via Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company decreased by 6.8% down to 357.1 thousand TEU.
NUTEP handled 330.1 thousand TEU, up 14.7% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top 5. Sea Port of the Troitsa Bay (Zarubino) saw its container traffic surge 3.6-fold, Arctic Consulting Service (Arkhangelsk) was up 2.7-fold, Okhotsk Sea Port was up 2.3-fold.
The largest decrease in container traffic was in Moby Dik (-85.8%), Tiksi Sea Port (-85.4%) and Federal Directorate for Construction under the Presidential Administrative Department in the Far Eastern Federal District (Vladivostok) (-73.8%).
