In July 2019, cargo throughput via the Russian Arctic sea ports increased by 11.6% year-on-year. Export was up 23.8% and import up 4.2%. Cabotage was down 3.8%.
51% of the total cargo traffic was crude oil, coal and coke accounted for 18.5% and LNG for 16.7%.
Murmansk
In July 2019 cargo throughput via Murmansk remained much on the previous year’s level (-0.7%). Cabotage declined by 1.8%. Export remained much on the previous year’s level (-0.3%). Import grew by 10% year-on-year.

Arkhangelsk
Cargo traffic via Arkhangelsk decreased by 17.7% year-on-year. Cabotage was up 11.2%, while export was down 25.3% and import down 50%.

Cargo traffic via Sabetta surged by 77.4% in July 2019. Export was up 2.8-fold. Cabotage declined by 4.4% and import was down 80% year-on-year.
