According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-June 2019 Russia’s export of vodka grew both in physical terms and value-wise.
It made 903.7 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 6.7% year-on-year, physically, and $65 mn, up 16.5%, in terms of value.
In June, Russia exported almost 135.8 thousand decalitres, down 20.1% year-on-year, and down 9.9% month-on-month, worth $9.9 mn, down 11.6% year-on-year and 8.3% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-June grew by 4.9% year-on-year up to $1.2 bn.
In June, it was up 9.4% year-on-year and 3.8% month-on-month to $221.4 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-June dropped by 59.1% down to $32.1 mn.
In June, it was down 65.4% year-on-year and up 48.1% month-on-month to $8.3 mn.
