Non-Ferrous Metals Export

  • According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-September 2018 Russia exported 2.3 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, up 4.6% year-on-year.

    In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export increased by 12.4% up to $4 bn.

    Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased 12.7% up to 478.2 thousand tons.

    In terms of value, the growth was even more significant, up 23.1% to $3.1 bn.

    Unwrought nickel export during the first three months of 2018 declined by 1.5% down to 101.8 thousand tons.

    In terms of value, it surged 36.3% up to $1.4 bn.
