Russia’s import of cars during January-April 2018 amounted to 93.3 thousand units, surging 45.4% year-on-year.
In terms of value, car import, according to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, grew 28.1% up to $2.35 bn.
Truck import also decreased 10.8% down to 6.4 thousand units.
However, in terms of value truck import increased 10.4% up to $630.5 mn.
Car export, on the contrary, declined 4.1% down to 25.5 thousand units.
In terms of value, car export was down 17.7% to $353.6 mn.
Truck export was up 2.7% to 3.8 thousand units.
In terms of value, truck export dropped 11.5% down to $80.1 mn.
