During the 10 months of 2017, Russian export of nitrogen fertilizers amounted to almost 10.4 mn tons. This is 0.2% more compared to the same period last year.
In terms of money, the export of nitrogen fertilizers also increased by 4.2%, to $1.86 bn.
According to the Federal Customs Service, the exports volume of compound fertilizers increased by 12.6% year-on-year, amounting to 8.53 mn tons. In terms of money compound fertilizers export grew by 2.1% to $2.2 bn.
Russian export of potassium fertilizers continues to grow. During the period under report, potassium fertilizers export amounted to 8.22 mn tons – 9.2% more than a year earlier.
In terms of money the export of potassium fertilizers grew by 1.7% compared to January-October 2016 to $1.55 bn.
