  • FESCO Transportation Group has announced closing the deal to acquire Port Gaydamak in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. The deal is part of the Group’s terminal network expansion programme.

FESCO intends to modernize the terminal to develop a grain handling facility with an annual capacity exceeding 400 thousand tons per annum. Port Gaydamak will also continue handling general cargo, FESCO said in a statement.

Port Gaydamak has a rail connection to Russian Railways’ network and covers some 21,000 square meters of territory. In 2020, the terminal handles 200 thousand tons of cargo.
