According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-April 2021 Russia exported 4.5 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 16.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew by 41.1% up to $998.1 mn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-April 2021 surged 88.4% up to 3.9 mn tons. In terms of value, it increased 78.4% up to $751.3 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 3.7 mn tons, up 9.2% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export grew by 43.2% up to $1.2 bn.
In April, nitric fertilizers export made 1.2 mn tons, up 56.4% year-on-year and down 12.9% month-on-month. In terms of value, it surged 2.2-fold year-on-year and declined by 1.5% month-on-month to make $303.9 mn.
Potash fertilizers export grew by 3.4% year-on-year, and decreased by 20.6% month-on-month making 929.4 thousand tons worth $180.9 mn (up 4.9% year-on-year and down 21.3% month-on-month).
Mixed fertilizers export in April increased by 37.1% year-on-year and declined by 12.5% month-on-month to make 903.5 thousand tons worth $348.8 mn, up 2.1-fold year-on-year and up 4.3% month-on-month.
