Due to the actual ice conditions improving, some of the ice regime restrictions earlier in force in the port of Vyssotsk in the Gulf of Finland have been lifted.
W.e.f. April 3, 2018 the following restrictions are applied in the port and in the approach channels:
- Vessels without an ice class are allowed to sail only escorted by and icebreaker.
- Vessels with the Ice1 ice class and above are allowed to sail independently or escorted by an icebreaker.
- Barges pulled by tugs are not allowed to sail in the port.
