During January 2018, Russia exported 4.3 thousand cars, up 16.2% year-on-year. Truck export in January grew 14.3% to make 800 units.
In terms of value, according to the RF Federal Customs Service, car export increased 14.8% to $14.8%, while truck export dropped 18.9% to $14.2 mn.
Car import into Russia grew 28.9% year-on-year up to 14.4 thousand units. Truck import increased 28.2% to 800 units, equaling truck export in January.
In terms of value, car import was 13.1% to $336.8 mn, and truck import up 10.4% to $119.7 mn.
