By order of the Harbour Master of Vyborg, new ice restrictions are introduced in the port of Vyborg in the Gulf of Finland w.e.f. February 21, in case ice is 15-30 cm thick.
Barges moved by tugs and vessels with no ice class will be banned from sailing in the port basin and in the approach channels.
Vessels with Ice1 ice class will be allowed only with icebreaker assistance.
Vessels with Ice2 and higher ice class will be allowed with icebreaker assistance or independently.
