Block Train from Yiwu to Moscow

  • TransContainer has launched its first container train from Yiwu, Zhejiang, China to Moscow. The partners in China are CRIMT and Yu Xi Nou.

    The train is routed via the Zabaikalsk border crossing , the transit time is 13 days. The cargo is fifty 40’ containers with consumer goods.

    After the test run is completed, a decision on making the service regular is to be made.

    According to TransContainer, the new service can be of interest for shippers currently using deep sea services from Ningbo.

    The company also has plans tro launch a block train from Yiwu to Yekaterinburg.
