According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, vodka export from Russia in January-November 2017 grew both physically and in terms of value.
The actual volume exported was up 4.4% year-on-year to 1.9 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit. In terms of value, vodka export grew 11.2% to $118 mn.
Russia’s import of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages increased 39% to $2.2 bn.
The import of cigarettes and cigars grew 8.8% to $146.5 mn.
