  • TransContainer in cooperation with Polar Star are developing multimodal services to deliver crab in refer containers from Murmansk and Arkhangelsk to South Korea, China, Viet Nam and Japan.

A test shipment from Murmansk was carried to the railway station of Shushary near St. Petersburg and was sent in a block train to the station of Nakhodka in the Russian Far East. The containers were loaded on board a ship at the Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company terminal for Busan. During October, some 60 reefer containers were carried using the route.

Crab in reefer containers is also regularly shipped in reefer containers from Arkhangelsk to Moscow and then carried in a block train from the station of Selyatino to the station of Ugolnaya in the Russian Far East. From ports in the Russian Far East, containers are shipped to consumers in Japan, China, South Korea and Viet Nam.

TransContainer provides fitting platforms and the services of its Logistika Terminal in Shushary (St .Petersburg) and Polar Star provides reefer containers.

In future, test shipments from TransContainer’s own terminal in Arkhangelsk are planned.
