Delo Group’s Terminals Increase Container and Grain Throughput during 9M 2023

  • Delo Group has published the January-September 2023 operational results for its Novorossiysk-based KSK and NUTEP terminals, both part of the Group’s stevedoring holding DeloPorts.

NUTEP container terminal handled 459.9 thousand TEU during the period under report, which is 11% above the 9M 2022 result. In Q3 2023, the terminal handled 121.5 thousand TEU, down 1% year-on-year.

KSK grain terminal handled 6.3 million tons of grain in January-September 2023, 1.5 times more than a year earlier. During the third quarter of 2023, 2.3 million tons of grain was handled, up 35.3% year-on-year.

“We are confidently exceeding last year’s figures both in terms of container handling and grain shipments, ensuring growing demand from customers who continue to transform their logistics chains taking into account changes in the pool of foreign trade partners. At the same time, the well-coordinated work of the team and projects implemented in advance to modernize equipment and increase terminal capacity allow us to increase volumes while maintaining stable and rhythmic work of all operational services,” said Igor Yakovenko, Director General of DeloPorts.
