New China Service at Global Ports’ Terminals

  • Global Ports and Hub Shipping have commenced cooperation in shipping containers between China and Russia, Global Ports said in a statement.

    In July -August Hub Shipping launched direct regular services from Chinese ports to Global Ports’ terminals in the Russian Far East and in the Baltic.

    In the Far East, 1,600-2,000 TEU vessels call at Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in the port of Vostochny in Russia and at Nansha, Xiamen, Ningbo and Shanghai in China.

    In the Baltic, Hub Shipping links ports in China, Southeast Asia, Middle East and North Africa with St. Petersburg calling at First Container Terminal deploying 9 vessels.

    Both the services are weekly.
