FESCO Launches Samara to Vladivostok Rail Service

  • FESCO Transport Group has launched a new railway service branded FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) from Samara to Vladivostok.

    Containers are carried from the station of Bezymyanka to Commercial Port of Vladivostok, part of FESCO Group. At present, shipments consist of several containers, in future, a dedicated block train is planned to be launched.

    The new service complements the existing train service from Vladivostok to Samara. FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) is aimed to deliver Volga region manufacturers’ products to the Russian Far East as well as to export markets in East and Southeast Asia.

    Commodity-wise, the bulk of the traffic will be consumer goods, construction materials, non-ferrous metal and plastic goods. The first shipment in the framework of FESCO Volga Shuttle (eastbound) left Samara on August 7.
