The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping said it is providing support to CryoSafe-42 project developed by Н2 Tech aimed at developing a UN T75 Type tank container with a screen vacuum isolation to store and transport liquid hydrogen.
In the framework of cooperation, the Russian Register is responsible for the approval of the technical documentation and acts as a consultant in designing, manufacturing and testing the prototype.
The new UN T75 Type tank container will comply with the UN-recommended standards for equipment used to carry hazardous cargo.
The tank container will be used ib multimodal transportation schemes using maritime, river, road and railway transport modes.
