FESCO’s «Kapitan Shchetinina» Arrives at St. Petersburg from China

  • April 25, FESCO Group’s container vessel «Kapitan Shchetinina» arrived at the port of St. Petersburg from China thus marking the start of the new direct deep sea service branded FESCO Baltorient Line (FBOL), the Group said in a statement.

    The vessel delivered 1,687 TEU laden with cars and car components, electronics, and consumer goods. On April 27, the «Kapitan Shchetinina» is to set off for a return voyage with timber products on board.

    FESCO Baltorient Line is the first Russian container service between Russia’s Northwest and China via the Suez without transshipment in European hubs.
