FESCO Transport Group has added a third vessel to its FESCO Vietnam Direct Line (FVDL) between Russia and Viet Nam increasing loadable capacity by 44% to 2,300 TEU.
In addition to the 850 TEU m/v “A Houou” and the 750 TEU m/v “Bal Boan” the 700 TEU “FESCO Askold” has joined the service since April 11, 2023.
With a third ship added the service frequency has been now been increased from fortnightly to once in eight days, the Group said.
The service rotation is Commercial Port of Vladivostok (VMTP) – Ho Shi Minh – Haiphong – VMTP with a transit time of 9-12 days between Vladivostok and ports in Viet Nam.
In the framework of the service FESCO uses Ho Shi Minh as a hub for container shipments between Vladivostok and SE Asia countries.
FESCO launched Vietnam Direct Line in May 2022. Since then, the line carried more than 11,500 TEU in both directions.
