The shareholders of Volga Shipping Company at their annual general meeting appointed Pavel Vinogradov CEO of the company w.e.f. September 1, 2022.
In this position, Vinogradov replaces Yury Gilts, who stays with the company as Advisor to CEO.
Vinogradov is a graduate of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. He occupied managerial positions in Utair, McKinsey & Company, Rio Tinto Alcan, and was Deputy CEO of Freight One responsible for strategy and development during the last three and a half years.
Vinogradov joined Volga Shipping Co in June 2021 as a member of the Company Board, in July 2021 he was appointed member of the Board’s Committee for strategy and investment.
