New Head of Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport

  • Zakhary Dzhioev has been appointed new Head of the RF Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot). A decree to this effect was signed by RF Premier Mikhail Mishustin on August 29, 2022.

    Dzhioev replaces in this position Andrey Lavrischev, who is retiring.

    Dzhioev, born in 1977 in Ivanteyevka in Moscow region, is a graduate of Moscow State University and Admiral Makarov Maritime Academy.

    He worked in the commercial sector during 1999-2010 before joining Rosmorrechflot in 2011 as head of the economic analysis, forecast and major deals approval department.

    In 2015, he was promoted to director of the economic and financial directorate, and in 2019 to deputy Head of the Agency.
